The Secret of 2012 And A New World Age- Hay House 2009)
Fact: December 21st, 2012 signals the end of a Long and mysterious cycle of time-a Great World Age that began 5,125 years ago! Fact: The end of such cycles in the past has triggered cataclysmic shifts that changed the face of the Earth and altered entire civilizations! Fact: The predictions for 2012, and what follows Range from an era of chaos and destruction to a Thousand years of peace and cooperation! What does 2012 mean for us today? The answer lives as the message coded into an ancient map of time! We're living the end of time. From the epic poems of India's Mahabharata to the oral traditions of indigenous Americans and the biblical story of Revelation, those who have come before us knew that the end of time was coming. They knew, because it always does. Every 5,125 years the Earth and our solar system reach a place in their journey through the heavens that marks the end of precisely such a cycle. With that end, a new world age begins. Apparently it's always been this way. For at least four such cycles (or five, according to the Mesoamerican traditions of the Aztec and the Mayan people) our ancestors endured the changes in global magnetic fields, climate, depleting resources, and rising sea levels that come with the end of time. The fact that they lived to tell the story stands as a powerful testament to an undeniable truth. It tells us beyond any reasonable doubt that the inhabitants of our world have survived the end of world ages in the past. Beyond simply surviving, our ancestors learned from the difficulties that can accompany the change. In the words of their day, they did their best to tell us what it means to live such a rare moment in history. It's a good thing that they did because such events are few and far between. Only five generations in the last 26,000 years have experienced the shift of world ages. We will be the sixth. The present world ends at a specific time, with a specific event, on a day that was marked on a calendar over 2,000 years ago. There is no secret about that date. The Maya who calculated it also inscribed it as a permanent record for future generations. The date is etched into stone monuments that were built to last until the end of time. When the date is translated to our familiar system of time, the message becomes clear. It tells us that our present world age will end with the winter solstice that takes place on December 21 in the year 2012. It's on this date that the mysterious Maya identified the astonishing astronomical events that will mark the end of our age, and they did so over two millennia ago. What Does It Mean? Now that we're doing so, we discover that the end is actually the start of a new journey. Perhaps poet and visionary T. S. Eliot best described the irony of an end being a beginning: "We shall not cease from exploration/and the end of all our exploring/will be to arrive where we started/and know the place for the very first time." While the story of a shifting world age based in our planet's orbit through the stars may sound like the plot of a Star Trek episode, the celestial calculations that our ancestors left to us are surprisingly consistent with the scientific findings of today. When we put it all together, they tell the same story. With that story, we suddenly have a new meaning for the greatest mysteries of our past, as well as the clues that tell us what to expect in our future. Fortunately, our ancestors left us everything we need to meet the challenges of a great world age. It's not only about cycles. It's about our ability to recognize patterns and where we are within the cycles. While quantum scientists tell us that we can never predict an exact future, what we can predict are cyclic probabilities for the future. This is precisely what the existence of repeating cycles of time demonstrates. Each time a cycle appears it repeats the general conditions that make something possible, rather than a precise outcome. Just as the conditions in Earth's atmosphere can create the perfect environment for a tornado without ever actually forming one, time's cycles can bring together all of the circumstances that led to an event in history, without that event occurring again in the present. The key here is that the ingredients for a repetition are present and the situation is "primed." The way those conditions play out, however, is determined by the choices that we make in life. The beauty of such an understanding is that along with the moments in our time that are ripe for war, suffering, and chaos, we can also pinpoint the moments in our future that are ripe for peace, success and stability. Time Code 5: If we know where we are in a cycle, then we know what to expect when it repeats. To know in advance where our choices can have the greatest impact tips the scales in our favor as we complete the cycle that holds our well being and, ultimately our survival, in the balance. And that is the beauty of Fractal Time. Because the rhythms and patterns of nature tell us precisely when we can expect the repeating cycles of the past, they also tell us when we have the greatest opportunity to change the hurtful and destructive patterns of the past-the choice points-that create the new cycles of life! Fun Fact:
It takes about 250 years for Earth to complete Linking Hearts Through Global Coherence Excerpt from from Fractal Time: The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age,, Hay House Publishers, 2009 In September 2001, two geosynchronous operational environmental satellites (GOES) orbiting the Earth detected a rise in the magnetic field of the Earth that forever changed the way scientists view our world and us. The GOES 8 and GOES 10 each showed a powerful spike of Earth's magnetic field strength in the readings that they broadcast every 30 minutes.(image right top) It was the magnitude of the spikes and the time they occurred that first called them to the scientists' attention. From a location of about 22,300 miles above the equator, GOES 8 detected the first surge followed by an upward trend in the readings that topped out at nearly 50 units (nano-Teslas) higher than any that had been typical for the same time previously. The time was 9:00 A.M. Eastern standard time; 15 minutes after the first plane hit the World Trade Center and about 15 minutes before the second impact. The correlation between the events and the readings was undeniable. In light of the data, two questions had to be asked: Were the attacks on the World Trade Center and the satellite readings actually related? If so, what was the link? It's the answer to the second question that sparked the research, and the ambitious initiative, that has followed. Subsequent studies by Princeton University and The Institute of HeartMath, an innovative research institution formed in 1991 to pioneer research and development of heart-based technologies, have found that it appears to be the heart-based emotion of the world's population during such events that seems to be influencing the magnetic fields of the Earth! What makes this discovery so significant is that those fields are now linked to everything from the stability of the climate to the peace between nations. These two discoveries have opened the door to a new era of understanding our relationship with the Earth. From their revelations the question has shifted from, "Is there an effect" between collective emotion and the Earth, to, "Why not?" If a large enough portion of Earth's population were to focus the strongest magnetic field of the human body upon one emotion in the same period of time, it makes tremendous sense that such a focus would affect the portion of the planet that operates in the same range of frequencies as the emotions. The relationship is clear: A change in the way we feel about ourselves and our world has the potential to affect the world itself. If the change is a positive one then the effect of the emotions that result should be positive, as well. Such a positive change is known to create coherence between the heart and the brain, and it now appears that the effect extends into the fields that support life on our planet. In the words of the HeartMath researchers, "Regulating emotions is the next frontier in human evolution." The discovery that we may choose to create more coherence between the magnetic fields of the Earth and us has led to one of the most ambitious science-based initiatives in history. The magnitude of the project is profound, the implications epic. In light of the challenges posed by our time in history this new project, The Global Coherence Initiative, now makes it possible for anyone to learn the heart's language of coherence. In doing so it now becomes possible for more people than ever before to participate in the changes that are taking place on the planet. The key to the Global Coherence Project is twofold. First, in partnership with internationally renowned astrophysicist and nuclear scientist Elizabeth Rauscher, Ph.D., the Institute of HeartMath is developing the Global Coherence Monitoring System. This system uses a series of newly designed sensors deployed across the Earth to specifically measure the changes in Earth's magnetosphere. The goals of this system are to measure how the Earth's magnetic field affects human heart rhythms, brain activity, stress levels and emotions. Preliminary studies, such as those involving the GOES data, suggest that such effects are part of a two-way relationship. This is where the second part of the initiative comes in. While we know that life on Earth is affected by changes in the planet's magnetic field strength, the data suggests that life on Earth may actually influence the very fields that sustain us. Part two of the Global Coherence Initiative is the ambitious effort headed up by HeartMath to teach individuals how to achieve the coherence that enhances our daily lives, and how to know when we are really in a coherent state. The idea is that when a large number of people respond to a potentially destructive global event, such as a hurricane or a tsunami, with a common emotional feeling, it can affect the quality of the common field that connects us. Because You Asked: My answer to a frequently-asked question. Q: What is a Fractal? A: When children attempt their first drawings of nature, the trees often look more like lollipops on sticks that the real thing. The reason is because the geometry that we've typically used to depict nature-Euclidean geometry-simply can't do the job. It's based upon shapes that we don't find in rocks, trees, plants and clouds. A new kind of geometry has burst onto the scene, forever changing the way we think of everything from nature and our bodies to wars and the stock market. It's called fractal mathematics or simply fractals. In the 1970s, a mathematics professor at Yale University, Benoit Mandelbrot, developed a way for us to see the underlying fractals that make the world as it is. Those fractals are made of a few simple patterns that repeat on larger and larger scales, such as the pattern of an atom repeating as a solar system. Mandelbrot's discoveries proved what we all know intuitively. Nature does not use perfect lines and curves to build the universe. Rather it uses irregular fragments that, when taken as a whole, become the mountains, clouds, and trees. The key in a fractal is that each fragment, no matter how small, looks like the larger pattern that it's a part of. This is the key to thinking of "time" as fractal patterns. During the coming year, we will continue to update our new and improved web site to make it more complete, more informative, and even friendlier than ever! The experts have now confirmed what we all have suspected-we're living a time unlike any other in over 5,000 years of recorded history. While there can be little doubt that everything from global economies to the way we power our civilization are changing faster than we can document them or teach from our classrooms, history shows that such changes have happened before and are intense...yet brief! The opportunity for such a time is clear: We may choose to work together to find our way through the uncharted territory of a changing world, or, we can do as civilizations have done in the past and fight over the dwindling resources and an unsustainable way of life that we have outgrown...a choice that has led to the collapse of some of the greatest civilizations on Earth! 2009 is an intensive year of developing new information to help us make precisely such choices, new offerings that include:
